meta GC-PID III - Photoionization
The compact meta GC-PID III uses a photoionization detector (PID) to ensure a high selectivity for volatile aromatic and halogenated hydrocarbons (LHKW) during the analysis. The device enables automatic and manual sampling. The detectability of the substance components depends on the lamp type and the ionization potential of the substances to be analyzed. Components that have an ionization potential that is less than or equal to that of the built-in lamp can be detected. We use lamps with 10.6 eV or 11.6 eV. The temperature is controlled isothermally at 40°C, 60°C or 120°C and an extension with one of our measuring point switch or our water sampling system is easily possible. The meta GC-PID III is optimally adapted to process analyzes as a mobile table version or stationary.
TID - Thermoionization Detector
The meta GC-TID has a high selectivity for volatile halogenated hydrocarbons (LHKW). The core of the thermoinization detector (TID) consists of a special ceramic, which is wrapped in a platinum wire. This is heated by a wire under tension and thus a material-dependent ionization takes place. The sample application can be done automatically or manually. The meta GC-TID is available as a rack or
table version.

meta GC-FID - Flame Ionization
The meta GC-FID shows an extremely high linearity for combustible hydrocarbons. The substances to be analyzed are burned in the device. This creates a charge current within the flame, the strength of which corresponds to the amount of substance introduced and can therefore be detected. The meta GC-FID analyzes the respective material components selectively.

meta GC-WLD - thermal conductivity detector
The meta GC-WLD enables manual and automatic sample tasks and analyses. The thermal
conductivity detector (TCD) consists of a measuring cell and a reference cell that form a bridge circuit. When the carrier gas flows through, the measuring and reference cells are in the idle state. A change in the gas composition causes a change in temperature and thus a change in the resistance of the wire in the measuring cell. The resulting voltage difference is measured and evaluated. It reacts selectively to organic and inorganic hydrocarbons.
