Automate your measurement processes with the software metaControl The software metaControl enables the efficient control and monitoring of our measuring systems. With the help of the software, it is possible to automatically record, evaluate and save measurement data. Due to the intuitive operation and the possibility of connecting to external systems, such as PLC controls, metaControl is the ideal solution for quality assurance and process optimization in many industries. metaControl is compatible with all meta devices and is included as standard.

In addition to efficient data acquisition and evaluation, metaControl offers a variety of functions for monitoring and controlling measurement processes. For example, pre- and main alarms can be set up to indicate deviations from defined limit values. Automated communication and data interfaces simplify the monitoring of the measurement process.

The meta MSC III serves as a communication interface between measurement technology and PLC systems. As a universal input and output device, the meta MSC III offers extensive advantages, especially for industrial applications, and is easily compatible with all our analysis and sampling devices.

The control software is used to control the hardware components, to record and store the data from the connected measuring devices and to provide this data via the Modbus protocol. The software is Java-based and is therefore largely platform-independent.

A MariaDB SQL database is required for data storage. By default a local installation is used. However, a central server in the network can be used without any problems. Data evaluations can be created using customer-specific evaluation tools and only require database access. The local software is not necessary for this. System requirements – Recommended Windows 10 – PC with at least 4 GB RAM – Network connection for device communication – local database server (from MySQL 5.7 or from MariaDB 10.4) – optional central database server (from MySQL 5.7 or from MariaDB 10.4)
